Number One on Urbanspoon

Square Meal

What is on offer: There are some seriously good fine dining options in Edinburgh (The Kitchin, Castle Terrace, Angels & Bagpipes and Wedgwood to name a few). We can chalk up Number One at the Balmoral to that list as well. It has retained their Michelin star for the past 12 years; a testament to the cooking strength of the franchise behind the restaurant. Number One is probably the most classic of the aforementioned restaurants. The dining room is grand and the service attentive (the matching wines are superb), but above all the food is so moorish. One of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh.
