The Brasserie is the lesser known of two restaurants at the Pennyhill Park Hotel in Surrey (the other being the hugely impressive 2-Michelin star Michael Wignall at the Latymer). It offers a casual brasserie type dining experience. While it’s not worth a detour it is a good option when you happen to be staying at the Pennyhill.
When we visited the Brasserie at Pennyhill Park Hotel we tried the following dishes:
- Duo of duck (8/10)
- Lobster medallions (7/10)
- Basil gnocchi and buffalo mozzarella (8/10)
- Rib eye steak (7/10)
- Carrots (7.5/10)
- Tomato and shallot salad (7/10)
- Green beans (7/10)
- Cherries & Pear mousse (8/10)
- Chocolate and toffee fondant (8/10)
Of the dishes that we tried during our visit to the Brasserie we really enjoyed the Gniocchi, which was a very memorable dish. The service at the Brasserie was good, but certainly not amazing.
The total bill at the Brasserie came to £120 (including 3 glasses of wine and service charge).
