“Burger oh glorious burger, how I’ve succumb to the lure of thy lushes buns…come hither to my food salivating mouth”
At this point I feel, it’s my duty to warn the reader that what follows next may contain some strong, full on, unadulterated food porn. In addition to this, I should warn you that you may find some of these pictures truly disturbing…you’ve been warned. Read at your own peril and be sure to keep a napkin around as you’ll surely be left salivating.
We’ve frequented Hawksmoor Sevendails for years now, but since last year or so it’s become one of my destination of choice for top primo burgers. The nice touch at Hawksmoor Sevendails is that in addition to their legendary Hawksmoor burger they always have the Kimchi burger and the Burger of the month available.
This month the special burger was the Pitt Cue Burger, a gorgeous creation of Minced pork, pulled pork, Ogleshield, vinegar slaw, BBQ sauce and mayo. What’s that?…is that drool that I see forming at the corner of your mouth?…well it should!
During the visit to Hawksmoor Sevendails the following dishes were devoured:
- Mint & Apple Swizzle (9/10)
- Potted Smoked Mackerel (8/10)
- Bone Marrow with Onions (10/10)
- Hawksmoor burger (9/10)
- Burger of the month: Pitt Cue Burger (9.5/10)
- Beef dripping fries (9/10)
The total bill at Hawksmoor Sevendails came to £55 (including service charge, and non-alcoholic beverage).
