After having had a couple of great dining experiences at Arbutus (1 Michelin star) and Les Deux Salons, we decided to check out their sister restaurant Wild Honey (also 1 Michelin star).
As with their sister restaurants, the food at Wild Honey restaurant is excellent and service good. During our weekend lunch we had the mackerel and cold soup as starters. Particularly the mackerel salad at Wild Honey was nice and refreshing.
For mains we opted for the pork belly and braised lamb and for desserts we chose the cheesecake and chocolate soup. We especially enjoyed the pork belly main and thoroughly enjoyed both desserts during our lunch at Wild Honey restaurant.
The food is very similar to what is served in their sister restaurant Arbutus in Soho, but the room is much more ‘stuffy’ / old fashioned and so are the diners. All in all Wild Honey is certainly worth a visit, but taking everything into consideration I prefer Arbutus.
Overall rating of Wild Honey: 8/10
