I’ve been postponing going to Barbecoa for a while now, because I’d heard very mixed reviews about it. However, after months of dragging my feet, I can’t help but conclude that the food is actually very good.
During my lunch at Barbecoa I started off with pork scratchings & chipotle sauce and for the main course I decided on the Fillet Steak with bone marrow, smoked bearnaise, shallots and herb salad. All the dishes tasted excellent and rival some of the best steak I’ve had in London.
The service at Barbecoa was spot on as well (I was there during lunch time), the interior is well lit and nicely decorated.
After my pleasant lunch experience at Barbecoa I won’t have any reservations going to Barbecao again…looks like after a few start-up problems in the first year of opening things are shaping up nicely for Barbecoa.
